Us history

The marking period is almost up. I cant wait. i think we had an interecting marking period. most of the time we talk about the westen movement, the populist. the great invention of a founding fathers. we also have been talking about monolopy. and how major company work. and how they could approve.

The projects are mostly done. im so relieved thats over with. i believe our mid term willbe easy andfun, because its mainly based on text based documents. it would be nice to have only to question but ii highly doubt that its only going to be 2 though. the school year is going by fast.we are almost done.

In class we been talking and taking notes. mostly people dont even blog or comment. i wonder if it really effects your grade. i disagree with all theblogging i think its not important and we shouldnt waist our time writing about things i dont really care about.

This whole blog is mejust rambling, beacuse i didnt exactly know what i wanted to talk about that really took my intersest. but im hoping that this is counting for a grade, because this is a big waist of time. Sorry for waisting your time reading this.

western people

Yesterday in Mrs. Garber's class.we talk about the wesrten farmers and the regular farmers. I didnt know that most farmers didnt make alot. They had to make loans. There was a lot of trouble and debt going into the farming business. But as the years went on farmering got smaller because of the development of the united states.

The thing that really shocked me, was the cows the farmers are breeding today. Giving them steriods. Those cows look scary. It makes me not want to eat beef anymore. With the technology we have today.Things can be produced faster and much better for human body. the food is mainly made by geniticly making things together.I think its just people playing god and i disagree with it all.

In the previous class, Mrs. G gave homework. Now we normally dont have homework. This homework was a packet. it was about economics in the united states in the previous years. The supply and the demand chart. It had lots of differ scenieros. which caused the supply or demand to shift.it either upor down.then we had to describe it. Whether the price went up or down or the quanity went up and down.

At first i didnt understand why we were doing it.butshe explained it. she had explained a lot. Most i cant even remember. there was a lot of taking this class. i aslo seen a cartoon. It was very interesting. It was about the uniteds tates and what was goin on. how poor they were getting and how they were following the wrong peolple to help.

I can see this unit is going to be mainly on the gold rush mining. the problem with the rachers and farmers and how the united states government got out of this or deal. The United states had to do a lot of work and its looks like it needs more because were going back into those horrible days.

The Test and Etc.

Today in Ms. G class. We took a test. The test wasnt long and it was pretty easy. we got to use our notes. The test was on every thing we talk about for the past weeks. The Reconstruction of the Civil War. This was ok. i learned a lot. i hope what eva we talk about next part of the marking period will be better than the Civil War. Another thing that i forgot to mention was the post apartheid and howitcan be related to the u.s Reconstrution.

Another thing thats going on at the endog the marking period is our projects. i thought at first it was going to be fun. but since i look at it and work on it, its a piece of work. the writing part is really where i dont know why we have to do it. i think its unnecessary.the class isnta writing class butwe sure do write a lot.

Mrs. G also decides that we should have another project. it is just a another writing assignment. im gettingreal tiredofwritingassignment on the account i dont like to write. Its a finshing the whole thing we 've been talkin bout. this one looks like a lot of work. itseems like i have no time. i dont reallyeant to do it. but itsone of those things i have 2 do.

i hope this is the last time we have to blog. but i have a feeling that it isnt.i must say it not as bad as i thought. its pretty easy.blogging is an ok thing, nut i still dont want to do this. it takes a up time. and thats not fun.

Ashanti's blog

Our warm-up was a picture of black people being hanged in front of a white crowd. This was after the Civil War and the reconstruction was beginning. It seemed that the white people didn't care for the reconstruction of the Civil War. You would think that they would change their ways about black people but they didn't. They decided the best way to handle it was to hang the freed slaves. This kind of thought still exists today but in a different matter. Other nationalities are not excepted now and probably never will be.

Today in class we talked about the reconstructions of the civil war. Well not really talked, we did an activity on reconstructions of the Civil War. I thought it was very interesting. I had to be a young, poor, white woman who lived in the south, was unemployed, and didn't own any slaves, so my decision was to stay home or to move up north, live a better life, and get a job.

I thought my life was horrible. But then, after listening to other people's stories my life wasn't bad. We had people that lost everything. We had people that lost their slaves, families, life's fortunes that made felt about real life because people are all different and go through tribulations in life as my Grandmother always said "KEEP LIVIN." As we listened to more people it seemed more interesting.

Then, we got in colored groups. Where as the people we were suppose to be playing, thought about Reconstruction the Civil War in their point of view. This was also interesting because we came from different parts of the country. Some were from the north and was rich and others were poor as in the south, the only thing we could connect to was the hurt we felt from the civil war. Some of us owned slaves, some of us never thought of having slaves. Which made the situation harder to solve because we wanted different things. Most things were compromised.

After this class I thought wow. How hard must it had been to reconstruct the north and the south. It is amazing how it was done. Because here we are as one country, but we still don't get along. I don't think that will ever change. Even though the laws and economic issues changed. Well here you go my thoughts about what we did in class today. Hope you had fun time reading my blog about the reconstruction about the Civil War. lol
